Notes on Volume Two

5/2/12

Dear Kudzu Reader,

Submissions for Winter Solstice are pouring in! We want to thank all of our contributors for the excellent work we've received. Please note that we will be in touch soon but are swamped putting 2.1 together.

Which brings me to my next announcement, print copies of 2.1 are now available for pre-order! We had such an overwhelming request for 1.1 that we had to do a second printing, and we hope to gauge our next printing based on pre-orders. Volume 1.1 is still available, but please note that it will be print-on-demand which usually takes about a week (plus shipping time).

Cheers,

M.P.

In Print & Closed for 2.1!

Dear Reader,

We here at KR are very pleased to announce that Kudzu Review Issue 1.1 is now in print! This is a very exciting time for us, and we invite all of you to check out the new Kudzu E-store, and while you're there, check out our T-shirts too.

In other news, Kudzu Review has closed submissions for volume 2.1, Summer Solstice. Any submissions will be considered for volume 2.2, Winter Solstice. We look forward to the release of 2.1 on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012.

Cheers,

M.P.

Awards announcement, and Kindle release!

1/5/12

Hey there Kudzu Readers,

I would like to offer my congratulations to Dwain Wilder, winner of the very first Paul Muldoon “Vector Award,” for his poem “Jack O’Wells” in Issue 1.1! The whole KR team would also like to voice its congratulations to Laurie Skelton, winner of our staff selected “Kudzu Leaf” for her flash fiction, “The Mothatch.” Both pieces demonstrated the kind of excellence we look for every day! Thank you both!

I would also like to remind everyone that the Kindle version is now available (thank you Arthur for getting that together for us), and that we are currently accepting submissions for Summer Solstice from now until March 1st. Happy submitting!

All Best,

M.P.
